Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, was completed in 2017 and initially served only official state functions, such as welcoming foreign leaders and hosting UAE Supreme Council meetings. In 2019, the palace opened to the public, inaugurated by Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The grand opening ceremony took place on March 11, 2019, organized by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The palace captivates visitors with its majestic architecture, grand halls, and exhibitions exploring the UAE’s governance, culture, and history. Later that year, "Hotel and Rest" named it one of the top 20 art and cultural monuments in the world. In 2020, Qasr Al Watan was nominated for the World Travel Awards as the Middle East’s leading cultural tourist attraction.
