Tourist Tax. In 2014, The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) levied a per night tourist fee on guests staying in hotels and hotel apartments in Dubai. The Tourism Dirham fee will apply to all occupied rooms per night. The fee will be applied per room, per night, depending on the type/star rating of the hotel. This fee must be paid by guests direct in the hotel.
Tour extension. You can extend your stay in the UAE by 2-4-6 days for an extension fee.

Do I need a visa for the UAE? 

For some nations, the UAE offers visa-free travel or visa-on-arrival at no cost. If a visa is required, apply beforehand. Required documents for visa application include a colour scan of your passport identification page and a recent 3.5 x 4.5 cm colour photo on a white background, both in JPG format. Citizens of the UK, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine do not need a visa in advance, but residents of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Armenia do. Everyone needs a separate passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months upon entering the UAE. Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult (over 21).

How should I dress in the UAE?

The UAE is a traditionally conservative nation. Dress respectfully with modest clothing. Women should refrain from wearing short shorts or skirts. When visiting mosques, women should cover their heads and dress fully up to wrists and ankles. Swimwear is acceptable at beaches and pools.

What actions should I avoid in the UAE?

Public displays of affection, offensive gestures, and public dancing are not appreciated and might even incur fines. Alcohol consumption is limited to restaurants, hotels, and specified areas. Drunkenness, public drinking, or smoking are strictly prohibited. Taking photos of Muslims without permission, government facilities, military buildings, mosque interiors, or road accidents is considered offensive and is prohibited.

What's the local currency?

The local currency of the UAE is the Dirham (AED), where 1 Dirham = 100 Fils. The exchange rate is approximately 1 US Dollar to 3.67 AED.

What souvenirs should I buy?

Common souvenirs include dates, camel figurines, pearls and goldware, hookahs, Arabic coffee and coffee pots, perfumes and incense, spices and sweets.

What's the power grid voltage?

The socket and voltage in the UAE are the same as in the UK.

Can I travel with a friend or partner?

Yes, you can book for two or more on a tour. Just add the number of rooms and participants when booking.

Can a hearing friend or relative accompany me at the same price?

Yes, the tour price remains the same for them. However, note that the entire tour will be conducted in sign language.

Can I opt-out of some tours for a reduced price?

The itineraries are designed specifically for the Deaf and include group excursions which are not optional. You might choose a different programme with fewer excursions.

Why are the tours so short? I want more days.

You can select a tour based on your preferred duration. We offer both shorter and longer tours. An option to extend your stay by 2 or 4 nights after the primary program is also available.

How much money should I bring?

The UAE is not an inexpensive country. For a week's vacation in 2023, a minimum of $150 per person is recommended. The tour price covers accommodation, planned meals and admission fees. Additional funds may be required for souvenirs, dining out, or other shopping.

Can I exchange currency in the UAE?

Yes, goods and services must be paid in dirhams, the UAE's official currency. Currency exchange offices are widespread throughout the Emirates. Some establishments in tourist areas accept dollars and euros. Credit cards and mobile payments are also commonly used.

What should I pack for my UAE trip?

For a Dubai vacation, pack dresses, shorts, swimwear, flip-flops, and formal attire if you plan to explore the nightlife. Sunscreen and comfortable footwear are essential.

Is alcohol permitted in the UAE?

Yes, alcohol consumption is allowed in the UAE (except Sharjah) for tourists and residents over 21. Alcoholic drinks can be consumed in licensed establishments like hotels, restaurants, and specified lounges.

What's the cost of a taxi ride?

Taxis in Dubai are comparatively cheaper than in many major global cities. The fare includes an initial charge of AED 5 to AED 25, plus AED 1.8 per km.

Can I smoke in the UAE? Including e-cigarettes?

Public indoor smoking is restricted in the UAE, but designated smoking areas are available. Smoking is allowed in hotel smoking rooms and specified smoking areas.

What’s the weather like?

From the end of October to April, the United Arab Emirates has generally superb, sunny days between 35-20°C. Which roughly translates as: shorts and T-shirts in the day, jeans and cardigans may (December to February) be needed in the evenings. From May to September, things heat up a bit, generally from the upper 30°Cs to the upper 40°Cs. May and September are the most humid months of the year, and generally SSS (Steamy Sunglasses Season).

Сan i take my medication with me on the trip?

If you need to travel with medication, follow the rules. Visitors are allowed to bring a maximum of three months’ supply to the UAE, but some medications cannot be brought into the country.

 

Day 1 - Arrival in Dubai
Arrive at the Dubai Airport and get ready with the necessary documentation for the immigration process.

It will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon the people in the queue
After the immigration process, meet the representative who will take you to your pre-booked hotel in a private vehicle
Arrive at the hotel in Dubai, proceed with the check-in formalities and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

You can stroll around the streets of Dubai, explore nearby cafes, markets and collect souvenirs for your loved ones
Head back to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 2. Half Day City Tour + Dubai Frame
Wake up with a delicious breakfast.

The representative will pick you up from the hotel around 09:30 AM in a shared transport for a Dubai's city tour that will let you discover some of the most prominent gems of Dubai.

Drive past Sheik Zayed Road, which allows you to catch a glimpse of Dubai’s modern icons like Mall of the Emirates, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall.
Take in the spellbinding traditional Arabic architecture as you make your way through the charming Jumeirah Mosque (photo stop).
You’ll also pass through the one-of-its-kind Palm Islands, Jumeirah Beach, and enjoy photo stops at Atlantis Palm Hotel
Dubai Frame visit at 13:00 PM.

Start off by visiting the gigantic Dubai Frame which is 150 meters high & 93 meters wide and catch the 360-degree vistas of Old and New Dubai.
On the ground floor of the Dubai frame, visit the museum that showcases Dubai's transformation into a metropolis city of the world from just a small fishing village in the middle east.
As you go on top of the Dubai frame, try walking on the glass-bottomed floor and try spotting some of the iconic buildings and skyscrapers of Dubai.
Figure out the difference between Old Dubai's sights to the north and New Dubai to the south at the Sky deck level.

Proceed to visit Dubai Creek which still holds the old-world charm
Stroll with your guide around the vibrant Spice Souk and Gold Souk
Take a walk through the history of Dubai at the Al Fahidi Historical Area in the Dubai city tour package

After exploring the city, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay

Day 3. Museum of the Future + Dhow Cruise with Dinner & Cultural Show
Wake up with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the famous attractions of Dubai.

The representative will pick you up from the hotel around 09:30 AM in a shared transport to witness the marvelous and extremely creative Museum of the Future which is an initiative by the Dubai Future Foundation with a visionary approach to sustainable living in the future.

This architectural marvel beholds publications, exhibitions, theatre, and attractions showcasing possibilities of the future and providing solutions to current problems.

At around 5:30 PM, the representative will pick you up from the hotel and take you for an exciting dinner cruise.
Explore Dhow cruise Marina a combination of magical sightseeing, delectable dining, and striking entertainment.

Witness the illuminating skyscrapers of the city while sailing through the calm waters of Dubai Marina from a fully air-conditioned lower deck for a luxurious experience and an open-air upper deck for a romantic setting.
Get welcomed with fresh dates and Arabic coffee on your arrival.
Relish the 3-course international buffet with a wide range of dishes with both vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian options.

Wake up with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.

Today, you have the day at leisure and you can choose to indulge in a number of activities that Dubai offers.

You can visit the famous Jumeirah beach and spend some time soaking in the sun or indulging in a number of water adventure activities like paddle-boarding, jetpacking, kite sailing, etc.
You have opportunity to visit Expo City Dubai. Expo City Dubai is accessible via Dubai Metro.

Feel the adrenaline rush and unleash the inner child by visiting a number of adventure and amusement parks or going skydiving over the beautiful Palm Island.
Shop your heart out at some of the largest shopping malls in Dubai.

Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5. Burj Khalifa + Dubai Mall + Al Bait Al Qadeem Restaurant
Wake up with a delicious breakfast.

The representative will pick you up from the hotel at around 09:30 AM in a shared transport and take you to the world's tallest building famous for its cloud-piercing height of 828 meters, Burj Khalifa.

Be thrilled by the world’s fastest double-deck elevators, at a speed of 22mph with 12-14people per cabin that will take you all the way to the 124th floor.

Take a closer look at the world below through avant-garde, high-powered, telescopes.

Standing at the observation deck of the 124th-125th Floors of the world’s tallest building and framing this memorable moment with some unique photographs amidst the aerial views of Dubai city will be an experience out of the ordinary.

Go up to level 125 which offers a spacious deck tastefully decorated in Arabic Mashrabiya for stunning 360-degree views.

Then proceed to your shopping haven Dubai Mall, renowned as the home of the Dubai shopping festival and one of the world's largest shopping malls in the UAE. Dubai Mall boasts over 1,200 retail outlets, including two anchor department stores, Galleries Lafayette and Bloomingdale's. It also offers more than 200 international dining experiences and a diverse range of entertainment and leisure attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Depart from the hotel at 6:30 PM to Al Bait Al Qadeem REstaurant for an Authentic Middle East Cuisine dinner. They have both Arabic and International mix menus to choose.
