Sigiriya is located in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka, within Sri Lanka’s so-called
Cultural Triangle. It is an important crossroads that intersects the Colombo–Trincomalee
and Kandy–Anuradhapura roads, and is 156-kilometres from Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo.
