Day 4 - Central and Western Tenerife
Visiting the Village Masca - the Local Machu Picchu

We will start our day with a visit to the pirate village of Masca, nestled in the gorge of the Los Gigantes mountains. To reach the village, we will drive along a narrow, winding road (it will be a bit scary but thrilling!). On the way, we will stop at the best viewpoints with views of Masca, the neighboring islands, and the most beautiful panoramic scenes around.

We will stroll through the village, which is rightfully called the most picturesque place in Tenerife. According to legend, pirates hid here with their treasures (no wonder! The Masca gorge is about 1,300 meters deep).

We will dance to "Despacito" performed by a representative of the Guanche tribe (the indigenous people of the Canary Islands).

We will try a unique treat (as recommended by the locals), which cannot be found anywhere else on the island. What exactly it is will remain our secret until we reveal it on the spot.

Trip to the Westernmost Point of the Island

We will drive to the western part of the island along the most extreme road in Tenerife (an episode of "Fast & Furious 6" was filmed here). We will walk around the area near the lighthouse with views of the neighboring island of La Gomera. If the group wishes, we will swim at a wild beach with an incredible view of the Los Gigantes cliffs.

Excursion to the Picturesque Canarian Town

In the evening, we will have an excursion in the picturesque Canarian town of Garachico. This town has been completely "erased" from the face of the Earth twice but has risen from the ashes each time. We will stroll through the historic center, visit the park, and climb to the viewpoint above the town center.

If you wish, we can take you to dine on ocean delicacies at one of the best local restaurants, featuring wonderful staff, authentic atmosphere, excellent service, and ocean views.

If it's open, we will also have the chance to swim in the lava pools that were formed by the encounter of hot lava and ocean water.

We will return home late in the evening and most likely fall asleep right away, enjoying a sweet slumber.
Day 5 – Leisure Day
Beach Relaxation/Shopping/Surfing

After several days of activities, we will arrange a day of relaxation and rest for ourselves.

The whole day will be spent enjoying swimming in the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, sunbathing, and strolling through small souvenir shops along the coast. In general, we will be lazy tourists. For those who don't want to laze around, we can arrange a surfing lesson!

Day 6 – North of Tenerife
A Walk Through Relict Forests, 9 Million Years Old

Today, we will enter a completely different climatic zone in the Anaga Mountains - with tropical humidity.
The beautiful and pristine Anaga Mountains are a prehistoric corner in the North of Tenerife, preserved in its original form. The mountains here are covered with relict forests, as if from a fairy tale. Such forests once covered the whole of Europe, but during the Ice Age, they disappeared, and now these unique plants are found only in the Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Azores.

Visiting the Most Beautiful Beach in Tenerife

After our walk through the forest, we will arrive at a unique place where tourists rarely tread - the most beautiful beach on the island! Jagged cliffs rising from the ocean floor, black volcanic sand, and the blue waters of the Atlantic make this place remarkably picturesque. The absence of crowds here allows us to fully enjoy the sound and power of the ocean, getting as close as possible to harmony with nature.

Relaxing on a Beach with Yellow Sahara Sand

Today, for sunbathing and swimming, we will visit the most "Instagrammable" beach on the island of Tenerife. All the beaches on the island have volcanic black sand, so yellow Saharan sand is not native to them. Las Teresitas Beach was created artificially, and the sand for it was specially brought in by barges from the Sahara.

Evening walk to the Capital of Tenerife.

Recently, the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has entered the TOP 5 most comfortable places to live in the world!

Taking a walk through the historical center, the port, and near the Auditorio de Tenerife, we might be able to understand what helped the city make it onto this prestigious list.

After the stroll, we head back home. We pack our belongings and prepare for the morning check-out and flight to the island of Lanzarote.
Day 7 – Departure to Lanzarote
Check-Out and Flight to the "Fire" Island of Lanzarote

Early in the morning, we bid farewell to the island of Tenerife, check out of our apartments, and transfer to the North Airport. Here, we will take a 30-minute flight with local airlines to the island of Lanzarote.
Transfer to the Villa. Check in.

After a short flight between the islands, we land on Lanzarote. This island is called the "Fire Island" due to the large number of volcanoes on it (almost 300). About 280 years ago, there was an eruption of 32 volcanoes here over six years! Therefore, Lanzarote now resembles more of a Martian desert - an ideal location for filming movies about other planets.

Rest on the beach.

Day 8 – North of Lanzarote
Visit to the Mirador del Río Viewpoint

In the morning, we will drive along the roads of Lanzarote to enjoy the visual delight of the island's most famous viewpoint, Mirador del Río. Here, we will be treated to an incredible view of the neighboring island of La Graciosa, the smallest of the Canary Islands (recently officially recognized as the 8th Canary Island).

The neighboring island is only 1.5 km from the coast of Lanzarote, allowing us to see the two small towns located there.

Trip to the Aloe Farm

Aloe-based cosmetics are the most popular on the Canary Islands. We will visit an aloe farm in Lanzarote, which is the largest producer of natural aloe cosmetics in the Canary Islands. We will have the opportunity to see how aloe is grown on volcanic soil, stroll between the fields, and, if desired, purchase cosmetics in the farm's shop.

Relaxing at the Beach in the Local Blue Lagoon

After lunch, we will visit the local Blue Lagoon. The lagoon is separated from the open ocean by solidified lava, making it shallower and safer. The water is warm, and the bottom is covered with incredible yellow sand, giving the water a gentle blue color (like something out of a fairy tale!). Although the beach is wild, many people wish to see this cozy place. Nevertheless, everyone will be able to find a spot between the lava rocks on the sand to relax and enjoy their time in comfort.
Day 9 – West part of Lanzarote
Visit to Timanfaya National Park

We will start our day with a trip to Timanfaya National Park, which perfectly embodies the essence of Lanzarote - the "land of volcanoes."

First, we will drive through the park, winding between the volcanoes in our own car. Later, we will reach the tourist center, where a bus will be waiting for us. We will then embark on a 40-minute guided tour of the "Route of the Volcanoes." Most of the volcanoes are active but currently dormant.

Lunch at the Most Famous Restaurant in the Canaries

After the bus tour, we will return to the tourist center near the most famous Canarian restaurant, "El Diablo" ("The Devil"), which is built using special technology on the hottest volcano in the park.

At the restaurant, we will be able to watch how food is cooked directly over a volcanic vent at a temperature of 300°C! We can also choose to have lunch with this "volcanic food."

Near the restaurant, on the viewing platform, we will be shown what "burning mountains" are like, with high temperatures near the surface. We will see a show featuring artificial geysers and grass igniting from the high temperature (without an initial flame!).

Visit to Vineyards on Volcanic Lava

After lunch at the "Devil's" restaurant, our team will head out to see how grapes are grown on volcanic lava for the most popular Canarian wine, "Malvasia."

"Malvasia" is a wine praised by Shakespeare himself! In the 17th century, this variety was present at all the royal courts of Europe until its production began to wane. It is said that Queen Elizabeth I of England herself enjoyed this drink.

Walk Inside a Volcano Crater

In the afternoon, we will take a short hike to an extinct volcano. We will have the opportunity to experience incredible emotions as we walk inside the crater, where lava once actively bubbled. Here, we will traverse lava fields (since this is prohibited in Timanfaya National Park), descend to the bottom of the crater among the remnants of the volcano's base, and feel like just a small part of this world compared to the grandeur of nature.
